Yes. However, New York State does not permit Marriage Licenses to be issued to an ancestor and a descendant (such as between a parent and child or grandparent and grandchild), a brother and a sister of either full or half blood, or an uncle and niece or aunt and nephew, regardless of whether or not these persons are legitimate or illegitimate offspring.
